We tested the Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo
Moritz, our German director, was able to test the Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo for 24 hours. We tell you all about it!
The future of Porsche?
Is the Taycan the future of the German manufacturer? Porsche's 100% electric model is available in a number of variants (already 14 for now), divided into 3 main categories: Sedans, Sport Turismo and Cross Turismo. It was one of the latest models that we were able to test: the Porsche Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo. For a price of around €190,000, this luxury electric car has 625 horsepower under the bonnet and a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds. The futuristic interior is in harmony with the philosophy of this sports car, which is to embody the Porsche of the future. As far as charging is concerned, it will take 22.5 minutes to recharge the vehicle, which is very consistent with other vehicles on the market.
Electric all the way
The Taycan is a true cross-tourism car, with a relatively large boot for a Porsche (84L). It also opens electrically. Another nice feature is that the door handles open out of the cabin when you approach the car, blending into the bodywork the rest of the time. The box containing the charging connection has a digital opening.
